within the TEAM programme entitled:

"Atomic and molecular level devising of functional nanostructures
for magnetic and catalytic applications"


TEAM program is implemented by Foundation for Polish Science
through EU Structural Funds in Poland
within the framework of Operational Programme Innovative Economy

announces open competition for :

STUDENTS
for completion of Master’s thesis (1 topic)   [details]
concerning growth and characterization of nanostructures for spintronic and catalytic applications.

Maximum duration: October 1, 2011 – Frebruary 28, 2013.

From candidates we expect:

  • BS (physics),
  • high grades during studies,
  • passion for research work,
  • good English skills.

We offer:

  • attractive scientific topics,
  • access to the modern research equipment,
  • stipend 1000 PLN /month

Recruitment procedure:

Candidates fulfilling the above requirements should submit their applications before June 10, 2011 to the e-mail address: korecki@agh.edu.pl.
Applications should contain at least:

  • CV,
  • cover letter,
  • detailed list of all courses taken and assessed during the study period,
  • additional information concerning achievements like: activities in scientific circles, popularization of knowledge, presented scientific talks, language certificates etc
  • A recommendation letter from tutor or other scientist is expected.

The selection process will be completed by June 17, 2011. The deadline can be postpone if not proper candidate is found.
